Concert Ensembles

´ All concert ensembles meet during the school day. The Symphonic Band meets outside of the school day for rehearsal. ´ Large and specialty instruments are available from the school. ´ Concert Schedule at lemontband.org

Jazz Band

´ Auditioned Ensembles ´ Members must be enrolled in Band Program (except select rhythm section instruments) ´ Year round as zero hour class

´ Does not consume elective credit ´ Meets M, Tu, Th, F from 7:00 – 7:55 AM

Lemont High School Band Parents Association

´ The LHSBPA is a "not for profit" volunteer parent organization. Their function is to help supplement & support the band program. ´ We encourage parents to be active within the organization; your input and support is invaluable to the success of the Lemont High School Band Program. ´ Each student holds an “account” for their time in the program which allows their portions

• f fundraisers to be applied towards trips and events.

´ Meetings usually take place on the third Wednesday of every month at 7PM in Lemont HS PAC or Band Room. ´ The Fanfare, our monthly Band Newsletter, is available at lemontband.org and electronically delivered each month via Charms e-mail blasts. ´ Any questions can be relayed to the co-presidents – Kurt and Clare Korte.

´ Lessons can be taken during band class; some offered after school
