Skills: Students will learn Adobe CC to include: Premiere and After Effects. Students will receive broadcast studio lab experience (presently virtual) & software experience, giving them a real-world look at the industry.

Pathway Shirt Note Book(s) 3-4 Flash Drive 64 GB

HCCA has a Professional Dress Day each week where students are required to wear their designated pathway shirt. Audio, Video, Film shirts will be black with the AVF logo embroidered on the pocket area. We will be doing journal writing and scriptwriting in our course as well as taking notes on various subject matter We will be producing a lot of video in the course. Sometimes it will be necessary to backup video and transfer to another computer.

○ SkillsUSA is our co-curricular CTSO (Career & Technical Student Organization). Students learn soft and hard skills, make business and

• ther professional connections, learn the importance and value of
• competition. HCCA is very involved in SkillsUSA and have had several

students move on to National Competition.

*If you choose to NOT have your child participate in SkillsUSA, they will have a test

• ver SkillsUSA toward the end of the school year. This is done because it is one of the

required standards in all 3 classes. Participation covers the standard requirements.*
