Data Quality Initiative (DQI) #597

• JPAS has records that have persons with active Access that do not meet the

necessary business requirements for that level of Access. The following are the three scenarios that will be addressed by DQI 597.

• This DQI will include DoD Civilians, Military, and Industry persons
• Records will be assigned a debrief date of the current date, assigned JPAS’

debrief SMO ID (20535 - ‘JPAS SUPPORT OFFICE’), and assigned an administratively debriefed debrief reason code if the record meets DQI criteria. Related notifications will also be sent to the owning and servicing SMOs.

• Projected Date of Action: March 22, 2013

• Active access records related to separated/dead person categories with

a separation/death date and/or separation/death status code. Action:

• No action required.

• Active access records where no owning or servicing SMO is associated

with the person category. Action:

• No action required.

• Active Access records where Access is not supported by current

Eligibility.

• All qualifying DoD Civilian and Military category Accesses will be debriefed.
• All qualifying Industry category Accesses will be evaluated and processed

through Eligibility-based logic.

Action:

• If there is an “issue” with an administrative debrief, verify the subject’s

current Eligibility, not historical. If the subject has a valid Eligibility, the SO/FSO should be able to brief Access. If the SO/FSO is unable to brief Access, the SO/FSO can submit a RRU to the appropriate CAF or Team.
