  7. 2019/20 Initiatives - Special Events Sub-Committee Inaugural Licence Manager’s and Stakeholders Lunch  Held on the 4 th March at the Brisbane Club  Announced ASIEQ’s Mission Vision and Values at the Event  Speakers –  Regulator – Craig Allen  Bruce Watson – WorkCover  Australian Lawyers Alliance – Greg Spinda  Queensland Council of Unions – Jacqueline King  Attendees – Sponsors, ARPA, QLS, OIR & WorkCover  Positive feedback received from all participants, good communication and networking opportunity, need to build on goodwill that was generated, strong support for a 2021 event.

The Never Ending Story with OIR/WCRS  November 1 2019 – Stakeholder Forum OIR premises.  Next week  •OIR will provide stakeholders the draft framework and template for feedback.  •Stakeholders have one month to provide initial detailed feedback on audit framework.  January 2020  •OIR will review feedback and issue second draft of audit framework to stakeholders.  •All stakeholders will have two weeks to provide final feedback.  March 2020  •OIR will publish the Audit Framework. Where are we Now ???

Moving Forward what are the key Issues  WORKERS' COMPENSATION AND REHABILITATION AND OTHER LEGISLATION AMENDMENT BILL Date introduced: 12 August 2020 - Status: Referred to Education, Employment and Small Business Committee to report by 12 February 2021  Self-Insurer performance and audit framework – includes * draft Self-Insurer Audit Framework * draft Audit Report template, and * draft Self-Insurer WHS performance  Accredited Return to Work Program Guidelines and Rehabilitation and Return to Work Plan Guidelines for Insurers.

  13. Moving Forward what are the key Issues (Part 2)  Regulating re-entry to the National Injury Insurance Scheme (NIIS) in Queensland after accepting treatment, care and support damages.  Implementation of Section 109, 133 and 133A  National Capacity Certificate
