What is a Complete Street?

  • A “complete” street accommodates all road

users, regardless of age, ability, or mode of

  • transportation. When every user is safely

accommodated, a street is complete.

  • Complete streets have positive impacts on

public health, local economies, roadway safety, and traffic congestion.

What is a Complete Street?

Both of these intersections move 25,000 vehicles per day

The traffic circle is:

  • Less congested
  • Less expensive to

build and maintain

  • Safer for all users
  • More attractive to

business investment

  • Conducive to active

transportation
