C4 Linking MQF to AQRF – Page 35 to 52 C4 Linking MQF to AQRF Page 35 to 52 MQF Comparability AQRF Overall, there is a GOOD FIT between the two levels descriptors notwithstanding the 8 8 observation that MQF has more outcomes than AQRF There is a GOOD FIT between the two levels as the outcomes are highly similar. 7 7 6 The outcomes are highly comparable and similar even though MQF requires more 6 capabilities of the learners. A GOOD FIT is concluded. Similar and comparable in terms of knowledge and skills and therefore a GOOD FIT 5 5 between the two levels is appropriate. There are some differences, which arguably are not structural. It can be argued that these 4 4 differences are present in MQF in an implicit manner. MQF have more requirements than AQRF to function effectively. Overall, there is a GOOD FIT between the two levels. The descriptors in Level 3 of MQF appears to be more complex, demanding in the field of 3 3 TVET than Level 3 of AQRF, although issues of autonomy and application context is not explicit in MQF. Overall, there is a GOOD FIT between the two levels. The levels descriptors are comparable although the element of discretion in dealing with 2 2 familiar issues is not explicitly mentioned in MQF as compared to AQRF. A GOOD FIT conclusion is submitted. The outcomes are similar and there is a GOOD FIT between MQF and AQRF descriptors 1 1
