Motions Motion: “To approve Bonnie de Groot as the recording secretary for the 2019 AGF AGM.” Motion: “To appoint Carolyn Foster & Gina Peake as scrutineers for the 2019 AGF AGM.” Motion: “To approve the agenda for the Saturday, October 19 th , 2019 Annual General Meeting of the Alberta Gymnastics Federation.” Motion: “To approve the minutes from the October 13 th , 2018, Annual General Meeting.”

Chairperson’s / President’s Report Big year for AGF • Many accomplishments achieved and challenges overcome • Strong community engagement • Developing the next 4-year strategic plan 50 th Anniversary is in 2021 – • Major theme has been change – Uncomfortable but we are growing stronger and more resilient

Chairperson’s / President’s Report Adapting to a Changing Environment • Media and Government focus on Safe Sport • New full-time AGF Safe Sport Manager position • Safe Sport Taskforce • Sound Safe Sport policy, education and advocacy initiatives are critical • New full-time AGF Membership Engagement Manager position – Facilitating two-way dialogue and collaboration – Identifying our organizational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats

Chairperson’s / President’s Report Achieving Notable Successes • Growing competitive programs • Exceptional representation at the first ever Canadian Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics • Canada Winter Games in Red Deer – T&T Athlete served as torchbearer for opening ceremony – Women’s Artistic Team medalled for the first time since 1995 • Competed for an Olympic spot at World Championships in Men’s Artistic Gymnastics • 71 participants aged 10 to 89 supported for World Gymnaestrada • And much more!!!
