Owned and Leased Facilities Property Services • 2018: Phase II • Small projects – Upgrades to City facilities which included over 200 specific items and many of our facilities • On-going restroom and accessory modifications at all of the City’s facilities noted on the ADA Transition Plan • Entrances and sidewalks leading to several of City facilities • Upgrades to parking lot striping and signage at all police facilities 8

Owned and Leased Facilities Property Services • Larger projects • Design work on upgrades to larger scoped projects at Police, Fire, and Service Node Facilities: • Police Precincts 1-5 • Lobby Restroom Renovations at 6 Fire Stations • Restroom and entrance upgrades at 5 Service Node facilities • Expected completion date is 2019 9

Public Right-of-Ways Public Works 2018 Accessibility Accomplishments Removing physical barriers in the public right of way • Pedestrian Curb Ramps • ~379 ramps have been upgraded this year • ~100 additional ramps are under construction • Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS) • ~35 intersections were upgraded this year with APS push buttons • Sidewalks • ~4.33 miles of new sidewalk built through street reconstruction projects Programs, policies, procedures, and ADA training • Sidewalk Gap program • New capital program to construct sidewalks in corridors where they are missing • First year of sidewalk gap program (2018) : Chicago Ave between 44 th and 46 th St E 11

Public Right-of-Ways Public Works ADA Transition Plan for Public Works drafted in 2012 • Update began in late 2017 • ADA Transition Plans should be updated periodically • Draft Plan anticipated in early 2019 Purpose of Plan Update • Reevaluate PW programs, policies, procedures, and ADA training • Identify criteria for prioritizing improvements • Develop an updated implementation plan Public Works Plan is a supplement to the City of Minneapolis ADA Action Plan 12
