Prerequisites : ➢ Required level of proficiency (A2+ - B1) ➢ Personal motivation ➢ An interest in the English language and the English-speaking world ➢ The approval of the English language teacher ➢ The approval of the pedagogical team Entrance tests : ➢ Cover letter ➢ Written test (up to1 hour 30 minutes) ➢ Interview (5 minutes)
The Cover Letter: The cover letter is to be written by the candidate explaining their interest in English language & literature as well as American history and their motivation for enrolling in the International Section. The candidate must show that they understand their responsibility to take on a greater workload in the section and that they are prepared to meet the challenge. The letter may be typed or handwritten. Length of letter by class: CM2 ➣ 6ème: 100 words 6ème ➣ 5ème ➣ 4ème: 150 words 4ème ➣ 3ème: 200 words
Test content: Entry into 6ème There is a written and an oral test

for content and 10 for language accuracy)
Candidates must be able to show speaking ability at a minimum A2+ level. Candidates will be engaged in general conversation about the place of English in their world and their motivation for studying in the international section.

Candidates must be able to show speaking ability at a minimum B1 level. Candidates may be asked to read a text aloud and then they will be asked questions
