The president of the Alumni Association is a lay member of University Council, attending all Council meetings

AAB members have supported engagement activity particularly in China, Hong Kong and India. Activity has increased over the last year.

- AAB members have used their
expertise to support University Engineering, STEM and enterprise activities. Donors rs
- AAB members support the University’s fundraising projects
with ideas, attendance at events and through personal donations
- The AAB is looking into ways to support the Annual Fund
programme run by the University’s Philanthropy team over the next year

Governance
New Constitution and Operating Procedures documents have been drawn up over the last year for the Alumni Association and Alumni Advisory Board. These new documents seek to provide greater clarity and stronger governance for the Alumni Advisory Board.
