• Robots in care are no science fiction; they are already

here and will (have to) become part of the way we provide care

• Some robots are able to do things that humans can

not (and they will become smarter very fast)

• They will not replace people but support them in

new ways end free up time for real human attention

• Much research is needed to make sure that they

become the partners we want to be
