Upcoming Planning Dates (March - May)

Date Actions March 1 – June 1, 2019 Submission of Bid Tabulations to ADO requesting ADO Concurrence to Award. Note: We recommend the contractor can hold the bid through September 2019. April 30, 2019 FONSI/FONSI-ROD approval required for projects competing for AIP finds in FY20. May 1, 2019 Deadline for each airport sponsor to notify the FAA whether or not it will use it fiscal year 2019 entitlement funds. If you do not have a project being considered this year:

  • Send a formal letter to the attention of Evelyn Martinez requesting carryover or,
  • Check the box on the Grant Pre-Application

Upcoming Planning Dates (May - July)

Dates Actions May 31, 2019 Provide written indication of airport sponsor’s intent to submit a grant application. If you submitted a pre-application, that will suffice. June 1, 2019 Complex projects at 90% completion: For FY20, submit CSPP to assigned ADO Engineer for formal review. (See ARP SOP 1.00 for more guidance). June 15, 2019 NYADO FY19 Final Grant Applications due to the respective ADO team member. (Final Date provided by Federal Register Notice). June 28, 2019 Per the Federal Register Notice - Final grant application deadline (For entitlement only projects – date to follow for all other projects). July 1, 2019 FAA will carry over any currently available entitlement funds for which the airport sponsor has not notified the FAA of its intention to use. July 31, 2019 Last day to request grant closeouts with remaining funds.

  • Sept. 30, 2019

Submission of documentation is needed to make final eligibility for projects that require a Modification of Standards, BCA’s, equipment inventory (ARFF, SRE, Aircraft deicing, etc.) or proration (buildings, utilities, etc.). See AIP Handbook for more guidance.
