Since 1970, CEC has incubated and innovated real life environmental solutions that directly affect the California Central Coast. Our current work advances rapid and equitable solutions to the climate crisis – including ambitious zero carbon goals, drawdown of excess carbon, and protection against the impacts of climate change. Our programs lead to clean vehicles , solar energy , resilient food systems and reduction of single-use plastic .

Who is Eligible for Solarize? • Own a home in Southern Santa Barbara County • Have an appropriate roof or open space for solar • Sign a contract with the selected installer by October 31, 2020
Credits and Incentives • Federal Tax Credit – 26% in 2020 – Drops to 22% in 2021 – Disappears in 2022 • Net Energy Metering
