We are dedicated to developing each player with the core values of :

Mission Statement

Expectations:

• We expect every player to be on-time
• If practice starts at 7:00 pm, we expect every player to be dressed and

ready to go at 6:50 pm

• Any missed practices or games must be approved by the coaching staff
• Excused absence
• If you are too sick to go to school, you will not participate/practice or

play in a game

• Examples of unexcused absences:
• I have tickets to a Cavs Game
• I have dodge ball
• I have a date with my girlfriend
• I have a driving test
• Get your homework completed in between the end of school and practice

• Merit Based System

1. Team Development

• We may ask certain players to switch positions
• We will play the best players regardless of grade

2. Playing to Win 3. Best Interest in the TEAM

• Grievances - We ask that you please understand that we have only the best

interest of the team in mind

• We will handle all issues Player to Coach
• During the season we will not discuss playing time with any parent
• During a game the field and bench area is reserved for team personnel only

Game & Practice Uniform:

• Home & Away Jerseys will be provided for both Varsity & JV
• Every player is expected to wear team practice gear
• Practice Pinnie will be provided
• Must wear:
• Black practice shorts
• White socks
• White under shirt or shooting shirt

Total estimated cost for 2019 Lacrosse:

• Cost per player is TBD (avg. $400), depends on the number of players:
• 1. Transportation & meals:

a. Preseason Sandusky Trip (3 scrimmages for both Teams) b. Ohio Machine Kick-off Classic vs. Columbus DeSales c. Toledo trip to St. Francis DeSales

• 2. Shooting shirt, game shorts, helmet decals
• 3. Senior Night
• 4. Misc. Equipment
• 5. End of season expenses
• We would like to have all 2019 fees collected in the fall, for trip deposits and
• rdering team gear

• Team helmets = White & Orange Cascade S
• Communication via email will go out to all players and parents

with the link to order helmets

• Cost is around $169, RETAIL is $289
• Decals/Helmet wrap will be supplied
• Window will open tonight - October 1st

the entire team

Film:

• We use HUDL system
• Allows us to film games, upload them into on-line site that can be viewed

from any mobile device or computer

• Great teaching tool to breakdown game film, competitor film etc.
• Create recruiting highlights that can be sent to college coaches directly from

the system

Stats:

• We use LaxSoft system
• Requires 3 people – one to call the game, the other to enter stats + a sub
• Very effective way of accumulating stats and providing reports for players,

coaches & archives

Box Lacrosse (Winter):

• Greater Cleveland Lacrosse Winter Box League
• Saturday afternoons (December through Feb 9th)
• 12:30 to 5:40
• Games will be on Field 3
• Location:

NC Soccer Club of Hudson (5661 Stow Road, Hudson, Ohio, 44236)

• Fees - $185 per player, $100 for Goalies
• Play as a team
• Interested in playing Winter Box – Sign up tonight

Off-Season

Club Lacrosse:

Open Gyms ( Fall & Winter):

• Attendance is not mandatory (OHSAA)
• No scoring or timekeeping is permitted
• Coach may not have organizational or instructional contact with participants
• Coach may not participate in designating who is to play on which teams
• Coach or supervisor may participate in play
• The frequency of open gyms will depend on the team desire
