CIGARS

  • Little cigars and cigarillos are smoked in the same way as cigarettes. There is

emphasis on:

  • Flavoring
  • Small package sizes
  • Low cost
  • Commonly marketed on Facebook, YouTube, and other youth-friendly sites
  • Often associated with hip hop culture and vocabulary

The same flavorings used in Kool-Aid, Jolly Ranchers, Lifesavers, and Zotz candy were also used to flavor tobacco. Flavorings were often present in higher amounts in the tobacco products.
