Aim: To identify and tackle issues of health inequalities within Buckinghamshire communities by acting as an independent, critical friend to NHS Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group.

School in High Wycombe and also the mosque in Aylesbury

  • Advised CCG on promotion of Improved Access to

GP services and helped to promote

  • 1,124 people responded to the Chiltern House

Medical Centre survey

  • The surgery has a site in Temple End, High

Wycombe as well as a previous site in Holmer Green

  • Working with the IAG we were able to make sure

that our promotion was targeted directly to the right people, specifically through the mosque, university and schools in Wycombe.

  • At the members’ request the next IAG meeting is

going to be focussing on mental health The Disraeli School, High Wycombe, 6 February 2019

  • Future of the group: No more funding from NHSE.

Members have offered to host the meetings but…..would like some official governance
