State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP)
Includes the regional COG/MPO Transportation Improvement Programs (TIPs) and ADOT’s Five Year Transportation Facilities Construction Program Compiled annually and is approved for a four year period Multi‐year, fiscally constrained statewide multimodal program of federally funded transportation projects Projects must be in the STIP to be eligible for federal funding

Five Year Transportation Facilities Construction Program
Comply with State Statute Plan for developing projects and spending funds for the next five years on the state highway system and Arizona public airports Projects in the first two years are fully funded and ready to advertise within the year programmed or sooner Projects in the last three years are identified to establish an implementation plan for preparation phases prior to construction
