ACTIVE LIFE INITIATIVES PENACOVA - COIMBRA - PORTUGAL KIT – “ Kids in Touch ” Co-Funded by the ERASMUS + Program 590425-EPP-1-2017-1-IT-SPO-SSCP

BE YOU has participated directly and indirectly in more than 10 European projects of socio-sport nature, physical exercise and health (French, Spanish, German, Slovenian, English, Belgian, Italian, among others partners). Collaborates and executes an annual sports training plan (approved by IPDJ – Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth) for sport coaches, physical exercise technicians and managers. It has a special focus in the development of sports in the Community as well in the involvement in international projects, such as Rugby KIT Project (Kids In Touch - Erasmus +, 2018), Rugby SSL (Troisiéme Partie - Erasmus +, 2018), Baleria Project (promotion of FIFA values - Erasmus +, 2017) and even more recently with EVS (European Voluntary Service) accreditation and consequent application to the ESC program (European Solidarity Corps, 2019).
BE YOU privileges a functioning based on close local partnerships, namely municipal public entities, entities of the 3rd sector and other companies. It has a stable and multidisciplinary technical team, with technicians from social areas, management, sports, quality, tourism, among others fields of interest. For the current project, BE YOU has a privileged relationship with schools and rugby clubs, especially with INEDS (Educational Institute of Souselas), which allows us a work with young people from 10 to 18 years. But also with the rugby club of Associação Académica de Coimbra and the Agrarian School of Coimbra. It is through these partnerships that we were able to implement the Rugby KIT Project in Portugal.

BE YOU works mainly with young people, and it is from some youth teams, namely sports, that designs the construction of projects of a more social and supportive nature.
