Coordinated monitoring

The Public Health Agency of Sweden is responsible for coordinated monitoring within the alcohol, narcotics, doping and tobacco area. This includes a monitoring system with indicators at national, regional and local level.

Indikatorlabbet is a monitoring system where the trend of ANDT can be monitored over time. Here you can monitor the trend in a coherent manner through the indicators which are linked to the difgerent objectives of a comprehensive strategy for alcohol, narcotics, doping and tobacco policy. Indikatorlabbet can be used for monitoring and planning of your work. In Indikatorlabbet you can access statistics on:

• access to alcohol and tobacco, for example, based on price or

number of sales outlets

• the municipalities’ work on supervision in accordance with the

Alcohol Act and Tobacco Act

• use of alcohol, narcotics, doping and tobacco
• the municipalities’ ANDT prevention work
• injuries from personal use and use by others of alcohol and narcotics
• number of treated patients and deaths linked to alcohol, narcotics

and tobacco.

Indicators

By means of time series you can monitor the trend over time and in order to facilitate difgerent types of comparisons, many of the indicators are expressed as relative fjgures, for example, percentage or number per 10,000 inhabitants. In Indikatorlabbet you can download difgerent types

Indikatorlabbet – a tool for ANDT monitoring
