Promoters
Mr. Suresh Kumar Patni, Chairman, has an experience of around three decades in Ferro Alloy and Iron & Steel industry. With his successful ventures one by one, the group now stands at a turnover of USD 1 Billion.

- Mr. Rohit Patni, Director, son of Mr. Suresh Kumar
Patni, is a Gold-medalist B.E. in Computer Science from PESIT , Bangalore. Presently, he looks after project implementations and domestic marketing of steel along with the overall management of the group.
- Mr. Ankit Patni, Director, son of Mr. Suresh Kumar
Patni, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from IFCAI, Hyderabad and MBA from University of Technology (UTS), Sydney, Australia. He had started his career by associating himself with the implementation of Ankit Metal & Power Limited and is currently looking after the finance & marketing operations of the group along with the overseas projects.

Year of Incorporation – 2001 The Company manufactures various kinds of Fero Alloys viz. High Carbon Ferro Chrome (H.C.FeCr), Ferro Manganese (FeMn), Silico Manganese (SiMn), Ferro Silicon and Medium Carbon Silico Manganese through Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) route. It also manufactures Medium Carbon Ferro Manganese through Aluminium Thermit process.

Manufacturing Facilities
Ferro Alloys
Bishnupur, West Bengal: 5 x 9 MVA furnaces; total production capacity of 71,430 TPA. Jajpur, Orissa: 4 x 16.5 MVA furnaces; total production capacity of 1,02,530 TPA. Haldia, West Bengal: 6 x 9 MVA furnaces; total production capacity of 100,623 TPA. The plant enjoys a status of 100% EOU.
Coal Mining
On the side of backward integration, RFTL has acquired economic interest in Coking coal and Thermal coal mines in Indonesia. Production has already started from these mines. Stainless Steel In an attempt to forward-integrate, RFTL has commissioned a 100,000 TPA Stainless Steel manufacturing facility at its Bishnupur unit.

Upcoming Projects
By way of backward integration RFTL is setting up a Captive Power Plant of 67.5 MW at its Jajpur unit. The plant is expected to begin production by December, 2013. The company is setting up an additional 33 MVA furnace to manufacture ferro alloys at its Jajpur unit.
