  • UK hosting partners – Sheffield City Council, British Refugee Council, Sheffield Gatea Refugee Commmunities

Forum

  • Press Officers & journalists from 6 EU countries
  • Objectives:

Short-medium term:

  • raising media awareness about refugee resettlement
  • generate informed media reports about the impact and importance of resettlement
  • build media and NGO awareness of how resettlement functions at local levels

Longer term:

  • Build sustainable NGO-media relationships with journalists in the context of resettlement
  • Promote European exchange on resettlement
