– Allows delivery costs for orders under the $200 minimum – The previous contract 10-case minimum order requirement was prohibitive because many agencies have facilities throughout the state that are very limited on storage space. In addition pricing margins are more difficult to establish and hold with transportation costs fluctuating as they have for several years

• Addition of four hard-wound paper towel rolls assists users in

controlling costs

– Supports improved maintenance service levels and reduces demands on maintenance staff

• Dade Paper Prices for the core products are 5.7 percent

less (overall average) compared with the previous contract

• Better Value

– Prices for core items are from 22 percent to 83 percent less than prices offered by Grainger during the MRO contract negotiations resulting in an ACS

• Prices are an average of 5.7% less than National Institute of

Procurement Alliance (NIPA) contract with Dade Paper for the same items

• For the previous contract period the Bureau of Labor and

Statistics (BLS) Producer Price index (PPI) shows a price change increase of 18.7 percent

– For fiscal year 2010-11 a price change increase of 2.8 percent

• ccurred for an effective Contract cost savings of -8.6 percent
