CHANGES AT EOIR — The Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), is responsible for overseeing the immigration court system. ¡ EOIR created The Office of Policy and charged it with overseeing new rules and policies based on political priorities. ¡ The Office of Legal Access Programs (OLAP) will now be under the control of The Office of Policy. ¡ OLAP oversees several court mandated programs, like the Legal Orientation Program for Custodians (LOPC) and also oversees the Recognition and Accreditation Program which allows immigrants to access qualified legal advocates. ¡ Catholic Charities DRVC is a Recognized Organization with Accredited Representatives that also runs an LOPC program.
