Would a student who is an Australian citizen and attended high school in Australia, but studies at college for four years in the United States be eligible to apply, or must their degree be attained in Australia? Can someone be eligible for the scholarship if their 26th birthday is in the same year that they would commence at Oxford? Before applying, I was wondering how important grades are when considering recipients? I am currently overseas on study exchange. Knowing that I have to return to Australia to attend the interview in person if invited, are you able to indicate an approximate date for this, and/or when I will know if I am shortlisted? Could I confirm that I am able to list more than five referees on my application?

Using narrative to tie your application together...
"Situated in the heart of the Mekong Delta, Can Tho University provides unique access to one of the most flood prone areas in the
under the supervision of the School of Humanities". and... As an intern in the United States Congress during the period of deliberations for the Hurricane Sandy Relief Act, I witnessed how reliant citizens are on their governments to provide solutions. I also saw how quickly legislation can be passed in response to natural disasters. and... Through my participation and experience at the G20 Youth Forum, I gained an understanding of the barriers natural disasters create for economic development. Australia has a longstanding commitment to active middle power diplomacy, and our national experience with successful disaster management represents an opportunity to lead our region in this field. and finally... Researching the resilience of one of the world’s most disaster-affected regions will be of benefit to the rest of Asia, and Australia’s relief efforts, especially given the predicted outcomes of increasing natural disasters.
