Address Corrections

• The volume of address corrections continues

to be very high (about 200 per week versus 10 per week in the past).

• Please validate addresses in UPS when

creating a shipment.

• IDS actively investigates address corrections

and we do request credits from UPS when necessary.

Residential Shipping Pilot

• There are approximately 35 members actively

shipping to residential locations.

• Data shows that these 35 members have

shipped 837 packages from January – September 2019.

• For this period, the published Residential

Surcharge was $3.95 per package. IDS received a $2.56 incentive, paying a net amount of $1.39 per package.

Member Renewal

• Member Renewal closes on Friday, December

13, 2019.

• Instructions were sent via email and can be

found on the IDS website.

• Please contact IDS if you have any questions

about renewal.

Staffing Update

Julia Fitzsimmons, IDS Administrative Assistant, will be retiring on Friday, December 20, 2019. A big thank you to Julia for all of her contributions to IDS over the past 12 years. IDS hopes to announce the new IDS Administrative Assistant next week.
