Percentile Rank (PR) • Expresses student's ability relative to the scores of other students of a similar age. • Ranges from 1–99 % Grade Equivalency (GE) • Comparison of student performance to grade level STAR norms Overview: Scaled Score (SS) • Students' Raw Score • Ranges from 0 to 1400
Student Growth Percentile (SGP) • Compares a student’s growth from one period to the next with that of his or her academic peers (same-grade students with a similar scaled score history). • SGPs range from 1–99% STAROverview: • Lower numbers show lower growth; higher numbers indicate higher growth. A student with an SGP of 35% grew faster than 35% of academic peers. • An SGP of 35% or higher suggests growth.
