HOUSING BOND BILL Housing Bond Bill reported out by Housing Committee – H.3925 Includes the $1.7 billion capital authorization with similar program language as original bill Includes $25 million permanent extension and expansion of state LIHTC 7

HOMEOWNERSHIP COLLABORATIVE The Homeownership Collaborative celebrated its 20 th anniversary! Supports & promotes homebuyer education by providing technical assistance and training to non-profit, homebuyer counseling agencies Offers a Seal of Approval for counseling agencies that meet best practices & minimum standards 48 agencies hold a Seal of Approval and serve 18,000 homeowners annually 21
YOUNG PROFESSIONALS GROUP Engaging young professionals and providing opportunities for professional development Monthly Brown Bag Lunches • Next Brownbag: September 27 th 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at CHAPA Millennials in Boston Report Luc Schuster, Director of Boston Indicators Along with the Mel King Institute and MACDC , the group manages a Mentorship Program 22
