Community In Involvement • October – Citizens Advisory Committee meeting to review facility conditions • November – School Board workshop and Citizens Advisory Committee meeting on master-plan options & financial feasibility • December – Board reviewed potential project costs & options • January – Citizens Advisory meeting for project prioritization

Proposed Im Improvements Mid iddle School & In Intermediate School • Comprehensive plumbing & restroom renovations • Hallway improvements and painting in all classrooms • Security vestibule & visitor check-in at both schools • Fine Arts improvements for band, and choir through repurposing existing auditorium • New Gymnatorium will seat all of BMS or BIS students and serve as a game gym with new locker rooms • New west parking lots & drop-off lanes

Tax Im Impact on Homeowners • Chart above reflects an estimated tax increase of $.1975 per $100 valuation • Over 65 Exemption (if applicable) – Regardless of whether the bond passes or not, school taxes will not go up above the frozen levy amount set at the time the Over 65 Exemption was granted.

Voting In Information Voting Dates & Locations Over 65 Exemption • Last day to register April 6 Form filed with Hutchinson County Early voting starts April 24 Appraisal District • Election Day May 6 Same form as Homestead Exemption - Check the box for Over 65 Exemption • Voting Locations Must be principal residence that you own Early Voting – Borger City Hall and occupy • With exemption – EXAMPLE: if you paid Election Day $325 in school taxes at the time you were Paul Belton Elementary granted the exemption, the amount of Fairlanes Baptist Church school taxes you pay, regardless of whether Borger Middle School or not the Bond passes, cannot be more than $325.
