WTA works with employers and local governments to reduce single occupancy auto commute trips in Washington County. WTA’s membership represents 15-20% of the total number of employees in Washington County.

Future Plans

Strengthen services for employers and partners

  • Support workplace events and activities
  • Leverage statewide events to maximize local participation
  • Improve ECO survey process
  • Look for opportunities to administer programs like bike share

Expand partnerships

  • Engage more employers and local governments
  • Smaller employers, lower wage job sites, & property managers
  • Develop & enhance programs to benefit these partners – i.e. new commuter benefit program
