  6. Any animals’ behavior tests or training results can be recorded into PetPoint by using the Care Behavior module. Behavior Results can be shown on kennel cards; will be transferred with an animal’s record when doing a PetPoint transfer; and can be viewed on the Animal View Report. 6

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVOEEp6dFxY&feature=player_embedded There are three user roles in PetPoint specific to the Behavior Test module: Behavior - User, Behavior - Power User, and Behavior - Manager. To use the behavior module, non-admin users will need one of the roles. They can be added on Admin Options > Add/Edit Users. For persons who should appear in the Behavior Performed By dropdown selection list, assign the association of "Behavior Personnel" under Edit > Person. Note: The Behavior module is completely customizable, as a result this section will have to be setup by your PetPoint Administrator before it can be used. To learn how to properly setup the necessary fields, read about the Behavior Category/Test/Result Tables here. The admin setup in add/edit field values for Behavior are: Behavior Category - limit of 100 characters. Behavior Test - limit of 100 characters. This field is dependent upon behavior category – make sure to choose “behavior category” from the upper right “group” option. Behavior Result - limit of 225 characters. This field is dependent upon behavior test – make sure to choose “behavior test” from the upper right “group” option. 9

Behavior: Test With this report you can do everything from print scheduled tests to looking at complete behavior history. Behavior: Test Missing Which animals need evaluation but haven’t been scheduled? Highlight Behavior: Test Run for all completed tests Category: Adoption Candidate Test, since beginning of year (history). Then take through SCHEDULED tests for today. 11

  14. Having a snapshot of past experiences and lifestyle can help adopter know if they are a good match. Need a way to gather that information at intake? If you don’t have the time to gather all this information at intake, provide an optional survey for people surrendering to fill out so it can be added later. Download the Owner Surrender form sample from online help or grab it from the resource page. Featured Pet – Want a “featured” animal page? Checking this box allows you to use i- frame code to list them. Adoption Price – This is an optional field that will let potential adopters know about the price on Adoption Kennel Cards, Petango, i-frame and standard webservices Information on code for these items can be found on the resource page. Behavior assessment statements like No Cats or No Kids can be easily seen on Petango and as users look at possible matches, they can quickly see important animal details. 14
