“A caring, supportive and stimulating environment where positive links between the school, home and community promotes shared high aspirations supported by a broad, balanced, creative and inclusive curriculum which develops an enquiring mind and a love of learning in all our pupils…”
“Where Children Love To Learn!”
A schools culture refers to the shared values, attitudes, standards, and beliefs that characterise members of an organisation and define its nature.
“Treat others the way you want to be treated!”
School starts promptly at 8:55am when the bell
classroom learning and that other children’s learning is not disrupted we have a strict punctuality procedure. Children arriving after 9:00am are required to collect a late arrival ticket from the School Office before going they are admitted to the classroom. School ends at 3:15pm daily.
We the adults are responsible for children at home and at school. We want to provide a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment in which each child is treated as an individual and needs of all are considered. We encourage children to work hard, to behave appropriately and to take pride and pleasure in their own and others’ achievements. We look forward to working together on a basis of mutual respect to help children become confident enthusiastic learners.

Oak Class
Miss Zenasni will teach PE on a Tuesday and Mr Rochford will teach PE on Friday.
Birch class
Miss Reid will teach PE on a Wednesday and Mr Rochford will teach PE on Friday.
Please make sure that your child is wearing the correct PE
Outdoor shoes must not be canvas to prevent ankle and foot injuries. I would recommend AstroTurf football shoes for those that play football a lot as they are hard wearing, otherwise running shoes are the most comfortable and supportive
PE Lessons:
It is best that children bring both indoor and outdoor kit for all lessons just in case we have to change the venue of the lesson because of the weather for example.
Outdoor PE kit Indoor PE kit Navy Blue Joggers Navy Blue Hoody White T-Shirt and running shoes or Astroturf football
style trainers. White T-Shirt Navy Blue Shorts (at the length pictured) Plimsolls/ gymnastic shoe/bare feet for dance and gymnastics
High standards of behaviour: The Governors strongly believe that high standards of behaviour lie at the heart of a successful school. Good teaching and learning promote good behaviour and good behaviour promotes effective learning. Children have the right to learn and to achieve their full potential in all aspects
believe that the expectation of high standards of behaviour which are required during the school day can have a positive effect on the life of young people outside school in encouraging them to become successful citizens.
