Math Department: Statistics and Probability College Preparatory

  • Developed from a half year course to a full

year course.

  • Introduces students to the methods of

collecting data for the purpose of analyzing and making inferences.

  • Students will utilize authentic situations from

the scientific and business worlds to reinforce statistical methods mastered in the course.

Social Studies Department: World History Advanced Placement

  • College level non-western history course that

relies on college level texts, primary and secondary sources.

  • The course is broken into six time periods with

a focus on examining each time period through five themes- historical, political, social, economic, and religious

What is the C3 framework?

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE of the College, Career, and Civic Life (C3) Framework for Social Studies State Standards is to provide guidance to states on the concepts, skills, and disciplinary tools necessary to prepare students for college, career, and civic life. In doing so, the C3 Framework offers guidance and support for rigorous student learning.
