Genetic resources and breeding Objectives:  Preservation and valorization of local genetic resources / minor crops with regional economic importance  Contribute to discussion on the use of NPBT  Collection and management of phenotypic data in different environments / Set up of a network of locations for trials  Identify major traits to consider for breeding: pest resistance, bio-economy, quality, interaction plant-mo (+ & -), resilience for climate change  Enhance development and implementation of enabling technologies in prebreeding and breeding of a wider range of crops ( e.g. anther culture for haploid production, embryo rescue, etc.)
