Objectives:

• Preservation and valorization of local genetic resources / minor

crops with regional economic importance

• Contribute to discussion on the use of NPBT
• Collection and management of phenotypic data in different

environments / Set up of a network of locations for trials

• Identify major traits to consider for breeding: pest resistance,

bio-economy, quality, interaction plant-mo (+ & -), resilience for climate change

• Enhance development and implementation of enabling

technologies in prebreeding and breeding of a wider range of crops (e.g. anther culture for haploid production, embryo rescue, etc.)
