Jordan is well equipped with hotels and resorts mainly in Amman, Dead Sea, Petra, and Aqaba. The hotels are of lower category than international standards. Local hotels usually do not offer alcohol. Aqaba and Dead Sea Resorts are exclusive. Petra hotels are basic.

 Visa:

• Price of single visa entry 40 JOD approximately 60 American USD per person.
• Collective visa applies for groups over 5 adults entering and departing together with minimum 48 hours

stay in Jordan.

• Special Permission for restricted nationalities for individuals and groups like Colombia can be arranged

thru ZTT.  Exit Fees:

• Exit Fees 10 JOD approximately 15 American USD per person at borders.
• Exit fees included in all regular airline air ticket.

 Local Currency: Jordanian Dinar 0.708 JOD is 1 American USD.  Electric Current: 220V/50Hz  Weather: The climate in Jordan is semi-dry in summer with average temperature in the mid 30°C (mid 90°F) and relatively cold in winter averaging around 12°C (around 55°F). The major characteristic of the climate is humid from November to March and semi dry weather for the rest of the year.
