Organizational Pillars

Convention: Membership: Advocacy:
We are a membership based organization
10
We need members in order to survive. Treat every member as if they are gold. If we don’t have members, we are not needed. It’s easier and cheaper to keep a member than to find a new one. Ask yourself everyday, what is our value proposition for a member to stay an SCI
that goal, then we need to refocus our energies.
Membership
11
(Remember comment about it’s easier and cheaper to keep a customer than find a new one.)
Value Proposition to our Members
12
Cost is something viewed in the absence of value. and Cost is only a factor in the absence of value. Key word – VALUE What is the value of SCI to our members
Our Direction for the Future
13
We Must Rethink How We Will Service Our Current and New Members While Growing the Organization and Revenues. We Must Do This While Expanding Our Areas of Influence Within the Industry thru Timely, Accurate and Effective Communication While Controlling Expenses. We Must Maintain Our Leadership Position in ALL Areas Within the Hunting Industry.
Growing Pains effect all organizations… It’s how you respond that matters….

Make “First for Hunters” a Reality
18
This organization is no longer a rich member’s club who only cares about hunting record book exotic animals from far away locations. We need the local deer, rabbit, duck, quail, turkey, elk, etc. hunters for a variety of reasons. We need to convince this mass of potential members/hunters that an attack on elephant hunting, lion hunting, etc. is just a
hunting.
