How can fistball be better promoted in the established federations ? How can young people be converted to fistball again ? How can young nations be better fostered in their development and education ? How can fistball be further spread and how can new nations be found ?

The content work for the foundation of the IFA Fistball Academy has already started. Numerous fistball experts were invited to contribute ideas for the implementation and set-up of a network to allow an efficient and flexible usage, and collaboration.

The functional chain runs from the IFA Fistball Academy towards the federations, and back again.

• A Platform and forum is needed to support the successful development,

promotion and distribution of fistball.

• Only a constant exchange of information provides results

and findings, proposals and ideas.

• The knowledge will be refurbished for all

member federations and used continuously by the target groups

The basic idea of the IFA Fistball Academy is the provision of knowledge and information for the respective target groups. Besides general, comprehensive information the target groups should be able to access their respective group-specific themes and offers directly. The 6 target groups are:

The exchange of knowledge and information, education and training, communication and dialogue are the fundamental terms of the IFA Fistball Academy. The newly established IFA Fistball Academy rests on these three pillars; a forum and network with the main goal to encourage the promotion, development and distribution

• Know-how transfer by consolidating existing documents on a separate information and

document platform as online database in cooperation with all member federations

• Arrangement in categories such as documents, scientific reports, videos or modules

as training or educational material, etc.

• Structuring and tailoring the offer for the different target groups, i.e. coaches,

players, teachers/schools, referees, sports scientists and officials/management

• Categorizing by topics such as technical basics,

training ideas, school sports, medicine, new rules, marketing, sponsoring, possibilities for promotion, etc.

This section includes development and online offer of learning and training material for (basic, continuous and advanced) education based on a modular approach. The same principle applies here again: from all – to all – from beginners to top athletes

• Creation of modules for the various target groups, i.e. coaches, players,

teachers/schools, referees, sports scientists, and officials/management

Measures in practice 1 Implementation of training modules in practice as basis for qualification and advanced education on the occasion of international events, and to support the distribution of learning content. Dynamic – Power – Action – Precision and Team Spirit!

In addition to this a lot of emotion – this is fistball – this we want to retain!

But without an intensive cooperation of all federations the sustainable promotion, development and distribution of fistball is not possible. Without structural and common fundamentals, know-how and engagement will be lost.
