Arrowhead will be utilizing the district umbrella of PBIS for our social and emotional learning. There are additional supports through the district which includes multiple resources for parents and students. The attached link will take you to the district site. As always please let us know if you or your family needs any assistance.

Not Able to Connect: Make-up Options

The below options are available if a student cannot connect during scheduled

• nline learning times.
• Whole group instruction will be

recorded and posted in canvas for viewing at a later time or for review

• Please get assignments done by the

end of the week.

Working Together

• First and foremost please know that we want our families to remain

healthy and safe during these unprecedented times.

• We also understand that your family dynamics and situation is unique

to each one of you.

• It is expected that issues will arise and students may not be able to

connect on time or complete an assignment in the given time frame.

• It is the overarching goal of our team that all

students are successful and gain mastery of the standards being taught. To that end, when “life” happens please communicate right away so that arrangements can be made to assure success.

Curriculum and Standards

• During the summer many people have been working to make sure that

materials have been uploaded that align with the standards and create equity across the district assuring the success of all students in an

• nline platform.
• The fall curriculum will be all new learning which makes participation so
• important. Students need to stay engaged so that when we return to

campus they are on track and ready to learn with their peers.

• Small group instruction will be essential to accomplishing these goals

(schedules will follow).

Assessments

During the first two weeks of school it is our goal to assess all students to help us identify where students might need additional support. Please be on the lookout for more information.

Food Distribution Information

Specials and Fine Arts:

We know that students need a well rounded education and that specials and the fine arts are extremely important to the overall learning for every child. Embedded in the schedules please note times for these classes as they enhance the whole child learning experience.

Additional Opportunities via Zoom:

• Information will be coming soon for our curriculum night. We

look forward to hosting parents for an informational live meeting regarding learning for the year.
