GOAL & OBJECTIVES

contemporary to create sacred ambience, holy, romantic and also interesting.

• Create comfort ambience with the concept of java

• Research the room with analyzing the activities and the

needs of user

• Design the facilities to be suitable with every religion
• Design the interior of wedding chapel with unique and

different concept of java contemporary so that the wedding chapel have a characteristic. PALACIO WEDDING CHAPEL SURABAYA Palacio is located on Jl Nginden Semolo 42W Surabaya. In front of Dr.Soetomo University (Unitomo) dan 17 Agustus University (Untag) and next to STIE Perbanas. It is located in a crowded district but is barely unknown to the people in the area, because the building of the chapel can not be seen from the main street. Palacio is established in 2011, consists of 3 stories. The first floor is used for tenant shops and food xtreet which is used for public use from 4 PM – 10 PM. At this area, there are still a lot of empty spaces, because there aren’t many tenants hiring the place. On the same floor there’s also a fountain which is turned on at evenings. On the second floor there are 8 karaoke rooms with 8-10 person capacity, a coffee bar with barely any customer, a function hall the capacity for up to 800-900 person. The function hall is usually used for wedding receptions and birthday parties (sweet 17). The third floor is the wedding chapel area which is used to hold a wedding ceremony. This wedding chapel is not just specified for a Christian wedding, but can also be used for Islamic, Hindu, Buddha, Konghucu wedding ceremony. Palacio has several wedding packages to be offered to the groom-bride-to-be’s from 108 million rupiahs. To cost to rent the wedding chapel is about 15-20 million rupiahs. Surrounding the wedding chapel is a roof top garden which can used for
