Access into LiUNA Local 506 is through apprenticeship training:

  • Apply online www.506tc.org
  • Complete reading and math assessment
  • Complete hands-on skills assessment
  • Attend interview
  • Successfully complete apprenticeship training(4-

8 weeks)

  • Join Local 506
  • Start working with a Local 506 signatory

Syrian Newcomers since 2017

  • Starting salaries ranging from ($22.00 -

$24.00/hr plus pension and benefits)

  • 3 Syrian Newcomers have completed their

apprenticeship and are now journeypersons

  • 2019 we have support 4 refugees through Level

1 apprenticeship training referred from Building UP!
