Overview

  • f the

slide-13
SLIDE 13

Sub Submissi ssion P Proce cess ss

  • The DOJ-hosted web application will not

allow officers to save invalid data

  • When data is received from a local system,

it must pass an initial check to ensure -

 It is not a duplicate  Information was included for the Agency, Officer, the Date & Time of Stop, and Local Record ID #

slide-14
SLIDE 14

Error R Resolution n

  • After this initial check, a record will be

saved in the SDCS repository

  • Then, each field is checked against the

technical specifications

  • If an error is detected, the agency is

notified by email and in a response DOJ returns

slide-15
SLIDE 15

Error R Resolution n

  • Only records with an “error status” can be

corrected

  • Even in the “error status”, limited

corrections can be made

  • No changes can be made to the following

data sets

 Perception data  Agency or Officer data
