Texas will become a place where new HIV infections are rare and when they do occur, every person will have unfettered access to high quality, life- extending care, free from stigma

and discrimination.

Our Vision for Texas

Black, Hispanic, and White gay men as well as Black women comprised two out of three PLWH and three

• ut of four new HIV

diagnoses in Texas over the last five years.

• Undoing Racism trainings (Creating Equity in HIV/STD Prevention, Care and Treatment)
• Monthly Conversations on Equity
• Texas Black Women’s Initiative
• Texas Health Equity Summit
• New program investments (GR) to prevent new infections, reduce transmission of disease,

and improve patient care

• 10M statewide
• 2+M (GR) to support PrEP implementation in high morbidity areas across state through STI

clinics and CBOs to reach uninsured and disproportionately impacted populations
