Tori Mitchell Leaving Under 17’s Age Manager Tori started out as an age manager for her younger brothers age group when they were in the under 7’s in 2009/2010 season. Since then she has continued to be their age manager as they continued their journey through Blacktown Little Athletics, until this year when they have now become too old to compete as little athletes and now graduate from Blacktown Little Athletic Centre. Blacktown Little Athletics Centre would like to thank you for all the hard work and dedication that you have given to the club and its athletes in your capacity as an age manager 2009/10 – 2019/20.
Nadia Saraceno Retiring Committee Nadia commenced on the committee in 2014/15 season and since then has held the position of championship officer & a general helper on the committee, she has also helped out with walk judging for either Friday night competition or our club carnivals Nadia is also currently an age manager for the under 17’s girls this year. Nadia has also helped out with Zone carnivals at the information table & being a walk judge. Blacktown Little Athletics Committee would like to thank you Nadia for all the hard work and dedication you have given the club and its athletes during your time on the committee 2014/15- 2019/20.
Melissa Savage Retiring Committee Melissa commenced on the committee in 2012/13 season and since then has been the go to person in charge of entering all the athletes results for either Friday night competition or our Centre championship carnival. During Melissa’s time on the committee she has also helped out with giving out medals at club carnivals and also tent recorder at zone, region and club carnivals. Phill Blunt Retiring Committee Phill commenced on the committee in 1989/90 season and since then has been in charge of organizing officials for our various carnivals & regular Friday night competition. During Phill’s time on the committee he has also helped out with Officiating at Zone, Region, State and Association carnivals. Phill has held the following positions during his time on the committee Officials: 1989/90 – 2003/04 Assistant Officials: 2004/05 – 2006/07 Officials: 2007/08 – 2019/20 Blacktown Little Athletics Committee would like to thank you Phill for all the hard work and dedication you have given the club and its athletes during your time on the committee 1989/90 - 2019/20.
Murray Gaudin Retiring Committee Murray commenced on the committee in 2008/09 season and since then has been the go to person for our IT & Webmaster. During Murray’s time on the committee he has also helped out with Officiating at Zone, Region, State and Association carnivals. Murray has held the following positions during his time on the committee General committee position: 2008/09 - 2008/09 Webmaster: 2009/10 – 2019/20 Blacktown Little Athletics Committee would like to thank you Murray for all the hard work and dedication you have given the club and its athletes during your time on the committee 2008/09 - 2019/20.
Julie ulie Ma Matley tley 1989 - Present Julie’s children commenced with Blacktown Little Athletics Centre in 1989/1990 season Julie started helping within her eldest daughter’s age group under 7 girls in 1989/1990. The following season 1990/1991 Julie started place judging and timekeeping at Francis Park BLAC’s former ground which she continued till 2010/2011 a total of 21 years of place judging / timekeeping, during this time Julie became a qualified place judge and was the go-to person for Friday night place judging. In 2011/2012 season she started helping Steve on the BBQ a job she continues to this day a total of 9 years serving on the BBQ. In 1994/1995 season Julie started assisting with carnivals in the Recording Tent at all BLAC carnival whether it was held at Francis park, BISP or Cornucopia Reserve and still continues to do this. This is a give us 26 years of tent recording service In 2015/2016 Julie started helping out at Zone with the Recording Tent and has just completed her 5 th year doing this. In 2018/2019 season Julie assisted at Regional carnival and has done this for the last 2 seasons. On Friday nights Julie can be found serving you on the BBQ or at a carnival Julie can be found in the Recording tent. This brings Julie’s service to Blacktown Little Athletics Centre a total of 31 years.
