Tennessee and Williamson County Parking Laws
- In a roadway headed in the direction of traffic (no
parking with a vehicle’s left side to the curb,) within eighteen inches from the curb
- Within fifteen feet (15’) of a fire hydrant
- Within thirty feet (30’) of a crosswalk at an intersection
- Within thirty feet (30’) stop sign, yield sign or traffic-
control signal
- Must leave available a minimum of twelve feet of the
width of the roadway for free movement of traffic
- Must not block or impede ingress or egress from any
public or private driveway, garage, or on a sidewalk
- Alongside or opposite any street excavation or
- bstruction when other traffic would be obstructed
- In any area designated as a fire lane
- At any place with No Parking sign
