Average project budget £65 - £75kpa / per associate; £27k-£35k (employment budget) + £6k (T&S, Cons., Training); SMEs up to 67% grant ( ~£22kpa cash contribution); Large companies up to 50% grant (~£33kpa); Project duration 6 – 36months; Submission windows every 2-m; Decision within 4-weeks and free to appoint / recruit thereafter; 100% application success rate (WoS KTP Centre);

  • created a manufacturing ‘toolbox’, to produce a wide variety of chip designs;
  • has manufactured QCLs for systems that detect explosives at a safe distance and
