HISTORY
The history of JSC “Uzvtortcvetmet” begins at 1939, when the Tashkent Inter-Republican Office for the Preparation, Processing and Marketing of Secondary Non-ferrous Metals was established.
More than 75-year history of the plant, experience gained during this period, valuable narrow-profile personnel, production infrastructure, and the republican strategic importance of the company ensure the progressive development of JSC Uzvtortcvetmet. Until recently (the beginning of the 2010s), the main task of the enterprise was the procurement of scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals, their processing and supplying domestic consumers with secondary raw materials.
