INGREDIENTS

We get our naturally derived ingredients from sustainable sources around the world, often helping to stimulate the economies of developing countries along the way. We only use preservatives that are safe and legal in cosmetic products all over the world. An independent testing company runs all our skin, eye and SPF tests

• n volunteers. We have also been awarded the Leaping Bunny stamp of

approval by Cruelty Free International, certifying all of our products to be free from animal tests under the international Humane Standards.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

All our core bottles from 30ml to 5L are made from recyclable PET material and

• ur pumps and caps are also made from

recyclable material. 93% of our packaging is recyclable from our paper bags to our beautiful Christmas gift boxes. Wherever possible we will source our raw materials, packaging and components from UK manufacturers to cut down on the mileage travelled and so cut down

• n the carbon used to transport them to
• ur manufacturing site.

We aim to limit the environmental impact from our production sites by using “intercooling technology” to swap heat into and out of our manufacturing processes when making gels and lotions. We recycle 95% of all waste created in the manufacturing process at our plant in Hertfordshire, England and recycle all our liquid waste from cleaning our manufacturing equipment at the end of each batch using a revolutionary composting process. We have reduced our energy consumption within our manufacturing by 27% over the last three years. In 2011 we lightened the load of our hotel accessories packaging by 7% (just under 1.98 tonnes per year). Now, all of

• ur accessory items and soaps have been

repackaged in 100% recyclable cartons and wrappers. We’re internationally renowned for

• ur compliance with packaging waste
• legislation. This is partly because of our

participation in the EU’s Green Dot

• Program. This symbol lets your guests

know that our packaging is recyclable and is part of the collection/sorting process with participating EU states.
