Finish Line Procedures - Radio

  • Check in with Finish Line Tower approx. 5 miles off

(Kitchen Shoals) on VHF 72. Stay on VHF 72

  • Within two minutes of crossing finish line, report your

finish to the Tower on VHF 72 with the yacht name and sail number. Do NOT report your finish time to the

  • Tower. Enter it into your log.
  • Check with Bermuda Maritime Operations on Channel 27

and monitor channel 72 for the next hour.

  • Proceed to R.H.A.D.C. during daylight.

Docking Procedures

  • We strongly recommend staying in St. Georges Harbour

if you arrive at night. Passage to Hamilton can be dangerous after dark. You must remain aboard until you clear Bermuda Immigration & Customs at RHADC if you stay in St. Georges.

  • Contact R.H.A.D.C. Dockmaster on VHF 74 as you reach

Two Rock Passage – i.e. Enter Hamilton Harbour

  • Don’t forget to head to Bermuda Immigration & Customs

at R.H.A.D.C. as soon as is feasible.

Customs & Immigration

  • Fill in all the forms before docking in Hamilton – suggest

filling them in before you leave the U.S. Check for any visa requirements for non-US crew.

  • Customs & Immigration will be setup inside the

R.H.A.D.C. Clubhouse – skipper or representative needs to get there as soon as possible.

  • If leaving by air, a ticket, e-ticket or flight confirmation

needs to be seen by Immigration.

  • LEAVE SIGNAL GUNS/RIFLES/VEREY PISTOLS at home

U.S. Citizens required to present valid US passport for entry into Bermuda, and re-entry into the U.S.

  • Max. stay in Bermuda is 90 days
