As an example, for the 150 project in Mississauga, we partnered with Morning Star Middle School (30 students) and Nexus Youth Services (15 participants) to illustrate the following reasons Why We Love Canada: "Freedom", the "Trans Canada Highway", "Peace", and "Summer". Feedback from the youth artists: "The main impact for us was the discussions leading up to the creation. It encouraged us to think of Canada in deeper/different ways". The youth also said : "I could see the group grow more confident to speak up around each other which was great. Towards the end of the project I also saw the group painting with greater care and confidence".

The social value created by VIBE ARTS’s accessible educational arts programs is wide-ranging and diverse across the multitude of programs offered. A recent independent study by SiMPACT Strategy Group, a social impact consultancy, concludes that VIBE ARTS has a 4:1 Social Return on Investment. Value is created for numerous stakeholders: ! Participant youth (54%): access to art supplies, exposure as artists, community support. ! Community (40%): reduced vandalism, positive public perception, community embellishment. ! Art assistants and teachers (6%): skill development, income and training. After experiencing a VIBE ARTS program, over 98% of program partners ask VIBE Arts back which is also a key indicator of their success in the community.
