Project Summary • Successful demonstration of a combined solar thermal, solar PV and ground source heat pump system (world first) • Net reduction in CO 2 emissions: ~210 tonnes/year • Equivalent to: • Removing 44 passenger vehicles from the road • Planting 5,500 seedlings and growing them for 10 years • Net saving ~$150K/year (10 year PBP on CKB funds) • PBP drops to 8 years with a 5% annual increase in price of natural gas CKB Sustainable Cities Case Study 10
