the first SAMPE UK Composites Design and Make Competition, using WrapToR truss technology

• Michael Wisnom awarded the prestigious 2019 Medal of Excellence in

Composite Materials from U. Delaware Center for Composite Materials, in recognition of his “significant contributions through leadership and scholarly endeavours to the international field of composite materials”

• The Composites University Technology Centre (UTC) was

recognised at Rolls-Royce’s annual UTC Directors' Conference, for its significant contribution to the company's patent target.

• Rainer Groh was awarded the Philip Leverhulme Trust prize in

recognition of his outstanding work and exceptional future prospects.

attracted funding in excess of £1.3m.
